      Litter/Pothole Reporting Disclaimer:

For your safety and the safety of others on the road please do not use this app while actively driving.

NMDOT will do its best to remedy the condition you are reporting in an expeditious manner, and it will be scheduled with other road maintenance.

If you think that the condition you are reporting poses an immediate hazard, please call 9-1-1 before you report it on this app.

The Reporting System is monitored Monday – Friday, during normal business hours.

      Pothole Reporting Instructions:

One way to report potholes and litter on New Mexico DOT roadways is to log the locations using a 3rd party mobile application called QuickCapture from Esri. Use the steps below to install and utilize the QuickCapture application.

      1. Click this link on your phone, or scan this QR Code with your phone’s camera:

      2. You will be prompted to open your app store, or your phone may automatically launch the QuickCapture page on your app store. If you see a message about ‘the address is invalid’ please click OK and then manually click the Download the App link. Click Install to download and install QuickCapture.
      3. Once installation is complete, launch QuickCapture by clicking the Open button in the app store.
      4. Click Continue without signing in.
      5. Once QuickCapture is open, scan the QR again or click the link again. This time the NMDOT Roadway Incident Report project will appear in your list of projects.

      6. Click the NMDOT Roadway Incident Reporter project button to open the project.
      7. Click either the Pothole or Litter button to start a report. Follow the on-screen instructions and submit your pothole or litter report.
